Dana grew up on the Oregon coast, where she developed passionate interests in nature, community, and the arts. She tends to get involved with community projects and events wherever she goes - these have previously included Eugene's Trek Theater, Write Around Portland, and Austin's Panoramic Voices. She currently lives in Austin with her partner Chris and their rabbit Olive.
