October 21 - November 25, 2018

This is a series about the importance of seeking wisdom and meaningful paths of living. We will explore Jesus’ formulas for living wisely – loving God, loving people – and the wisdom we learn from our elders, from our youth and children, from women, and from walking humbly.

Where Can Wisdom Be Found?

We introduce our new series with an exploration of the different places and ways we can find wisdom. Or does wisdom find us?

The Wisdom of Loving God

This Sunday, we’re going to work on loving God not as an abstraction but as a real thing that we practice and reinforce, and that’s where living wisely happens. As a special treat, we’ll also have a couple of absolutely non-partisan Nathan Brown poems.

The Wisdom of Loving Neighbor

This week, we see how Jesus as wisdom-teacher surprises everybody…

The Wisdom of Elders

A great theme for this Sunday, a great story from scripture, a great proverb, and honoring our mentors. Y’all come.

The Wisdom of Youth

This week, the Youth are in charge! Join us for Youth-led worship as we explore the value of the wisdom they have for us. Two of our younger Journeyers will be sharing their wisdom with us and David will talk about the story of Jesus and the little children.

The Wisdom of Women

This week, our women will be leading us into Sophia wisdom, where we'll explore the wisdom of women and the Divine Feminine.
