Lend a Hand

wordle of the word "serve" in many languagesJourney is an organization with many moving parts. Who makes Journey run? You do! Here are a few of the many ways that you — yes, you! — can help keep it all going:

A/V

Journey wouldn't be Journey without the dedicated folks on the audio/visual team. They run the sound board for musicians and speakers, prepare and present slideshows and videos for use both before and during worship, record events for electronic distribution, and play with all kinds of fun, geeky stuff. You, too, can be one of the Cool Kids! Just contact the Soul Train here.

Cleaning

We are looking for volunteers to help tidy up our Journey space. If you have just 20 minutes a month, you can help keep Journey clean. Please contact DeAnn for more information. Thanks!

Lawn Care

The grass just keeps on growing! We need some volunteers to help keep our yard looking spiffy. For more info or to volunteer, please contact Cindy H. Thanks!

Nursery Workers

We are in serious need of folks to look after our littlest Journeyers on Sundays. Nursery workers must be 16 or older and we do actually pay them. Please let Stacie or Vicki know if you know of someone who might be interested. In the meantime, we continue to rely on volunteers (with background checks or willing to have one done) who can help cover in the nursery. If you can volunteer at all, or are interested in working in the nursery regularly, contact the staff. We can accommodate any schedule requests. Thank you!

Children's Church

Teachers are needed for Children's Church (11 am - 12:15 pm). All the necessary materials are provided for you. Just bring your own sweet self and hang out with our Journey kids. Please sign up on Sunday morning or contact Vicki for more information.

Journey Contribution Cards

JIFC contribution cardHave you ever felt left out at offering time because you give online, and you're not quite sure what to do when the baskets go by? Or maybe you write a check at the beginning of the month and wonder what to do those other Sundays of the month? Do you give your time rather than money? Well, your Bones Ministry feels your pain. We've come up with some simple Journey Giving Cards, available on the back tables, to help you during offering. Just pick one up on your way in and later drop it in the basket. It allows you to actively participate in offering and to demonstrate your commitment to Journey. And the Journey Giving cards are for everyone! Sometimes folks have nothing to offer but prayers and good wishes, so use the Journey Giving Cards for that purpose, too. It's all about being present, being intentional, and being part of giving to and sustaining our faith community. Every contribution — of whatever sort — counts!
