The three major Jewish feasts of Jesus' time (Passover, Weeks, Booths) were seasonal — some with fixed dates and some that moved based on the calendar or the moon. Easter is like that, too. The term 'moveable feast' can refer to this kind of religious observance, the kind that moves in time; it can also refer to a lesson or remembrance or a part of ourselves that stays with us but grows, changes, evolves as we evolve. Let's look at how these ancient festivals and their theological ideas reflect our own spiritual paths — deliverance, direction, harvest.
