line drawing of Scarecrow from Wizard of OzThe Mind Ministry fulfills the needs of our faith community for learning and equipping. This includes Children, Youth, and Adult Bible Studies, VBS, Advent and Lent Lunches, and more.

In order to love and serve God and other people better, we must learn new things about how to be healthy and how to serve. Jesus called this "making disciples." We study and grow together, with openness and without judging others. We do not believe everyone has to agree about all things; we focus rather on the calling of God in our community. We question and think and listen. We study the Bible, talk about our lives and struggles, and learn about relationships and spiritual life together. The Mind Ministry helps provide tools and awareness for growing and learning. You are encouraged to explore and expand your faith in following Jesus. We'll grow and learn with you.

Journey Adults

Bible Study & Adult Classes

Journey's main Bible Study happens at 9:45 each Sunday morning at Journey and is generally led by Pastor Rick Diamond. In addition, a second class is offered on an occassional basis, usually in the form of a book study, elsewhere in the building and taking place at the same time as the main Bible Study. Evening classes are sometimes offered based on demand and availability of instructors. E-mail mindleaders@journeyifc.com for more information.
