line drawing of Tin Man from The Wizard of OzThe Heart Ministry fulfills the needs of our faith community for fellowship and sharing. This includes pastoral care, prayer requests, picnics and other social events, Fred Groups, Koinonia, Peregrinati, and the JourneyMen.

Everyone desires to belong and to matter. Our community provides love, acceptance, forgiveness, and healing to one another and to those we encounter. We spend time together and support each other. We strive to know each other and to see God in each other. We continue to learn how to be more loving and more caring. The Heart Ministry helps make those opportunities available. You are encouraged to build connections with other people at Journey and beyond. You are included and important.

From Our Heart to Your Heart

Sometimes you need a little help along your journey. If you want to receive care during a difficult time in your life, such as a hospitalization, death or illness of a loved one, long-term illness, or personal emergency, contact care@journeyifc.com. Our Care Team will coordinate visits with you, food brought to your home as you get better, or talk to you about other support you may need.

If you have something come up in your life or in the life of someone you care about, and you'd like a team of people to pray about it on your behalf, contact prayer@journeyifc.com. Our Prayer Team will be discreet, and they won't bother you about it; it's up to you to let them know when the situation has changed or when the prayers for that situation aren't needed any longer.

Koinonia meets on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at Panera Bread (9901 N. Capital of Texas Hwy) in North Austin. All women are invited to join us! If you have any questions, contact women@journeyifc.com.

Peregrinati

The Young Women's Group, named Peregrinati, is for any women ages 18-30ish. We meet the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month at Journey from 7:30-9:00 pm. The roots of the word Peregrinati are in Latin, Italian and Celtic. It is the word for a pilgrimage, a journey, or wandering. The Celtic Peregrinati is a wandering that is not aimless, but is actually an intentional journey that is spiritually lead. Contact women@journeyifc.com if you’d like more information.
