The coming of God in the form of a human being is a twister, an earthquake. It didn't look like it at the time; it was no big deal to the whole world. But those who over the centuries have seen even a part of it, and imagined what was at stake, have entered a cosmic garage sale, making room in their lives for something that insists on changing everything. We’re looking at the story of the coming of Jesus and what it says to us about making room in our hearts, in the way we live, in the way we use time and money and resources… and whether this way of knowing God is worth responding to in hope, or not.
